Meditation is a way of getting in touch with your True Self. You may not be accustomed to having a relationship with this aspect of yourself. You may be afraid of stillness without even realizing it. Have you noticed yourself in a conversation—if there is a pause in the conversation that one of you has to fill up the space with some words, even if it’s only about the weather? How often to you say you’ll take time to meditate but instead find yourself watching TV, looking at your texts, or checking for email or Facebook posts? Let’s learn together to embrace the Silence. Whether you meditate or not, you may learn something new in this week’s show. As it says in A Course in Miracles, “Learn to be quiet in the midst of turmoil, for quietness is the end of strife and this is the journey to peace.”
