Summer Miracles and You

Dear MiraclesOne Friends,

Summer is a great time, we have the opportunity to be outdoors enjoying the sun and sand and the beauty that surrounds us here in the world. We have fun-filled vacations and reunite and relax with family and friends. It’s a glorious, vibrant time.

With summer, comes other times as well. In the summer donations traditionally drop in all churches, ministries and other charities. Here at MiraclesOne, as a church, we depend on your kindness and financial support as well. As staff Rev. Paul and I do not take a salary and solely devote and volunteer our time (and personal money) to support the work of MiraclesOne. (This is one of the reasons why Rev. Paul himself is deployed to Iraq.) Every dollar we receive as a donation to MiraclesOne is put back into the ministry to pay for items such as our church site rental, internet access, equipment, production, printing, postage, retreat and workshop presenters, and other like costs.

We have appreciated you, our members, in so many ways. From our connections at conferences, on the phone and in person, to the notes of kindness and appreciation that you have sent. We would not be here continuing our sole focus of Practical Application of A Course in Miracles without you and what you have asked from us in direct support of your study of ACIM.

Could we stray off this focus to focus solely on making this a money-making venture utilizing other modaliities, ideas, and spiritual texts? Sure, we could, but our belief, devotion, and guidance from Holy Spirit is rooted in the spiritual foundation of A Course in Miracles itself, and that’s where our integrity, authenticity, honesty and genuineness is found in our teaching.

We are simply a ministry with a history of being servant-leaders and ministers. Not many organizations or teachers are rooted in the idea of service and ministry. As the Senior Pastor of MiraclesOne, I firmly believe that service is key in working with all of our students and members. My own background is one of service in non-profits and in traditional ministry for many, many years. The philosophy of Servant-Leadership by Robert Greenleaf still guides what I, Rev. Paul and MiraclesOne accomplish today.

The servant-leader is servant first. It begins with the natural feeling that one wants to serve, to serve first. Then conscious choice brings one to aspire to lead. That person is sharply different from one who is leader first, perhaps because of the need to assuage an unusual power drive or to acquire material possessions.The leader-first and the servant-first are two extreme types. Between them there are shadings and blends that are part of the infinite variety of human nature. ~ Robert Greenleaf.

* Have you emailed or called us for counseling or more understanding of ACIM?
* Do you support the idea learning how to apply ACIM in your daily life while being encouraged to connect with the Holy Spirit within you?
* Do you know that we never turn anyone away who cannot pay to any of our programs?
* Do you simply want to share your appreciation and support of MiraclesOne?
