This study will feature Marianne Williamson’s brand new book, A Course in Weight Loss. Marianne is a long time A Course in Miracles teacher and brings to us lessons and journaling processes to help us heal our mind in relation to weight. This book however is not just about losing weight. It is a sacred journey into our True Selves. We can also see that it is really about any addiction that becomes an idol in front of our Creator, be it alcohol, drugs, sex, gambling, shopping, anger, emotions, or the world itself. The same techniques in this book can really be used for any addiction.
About the book:
A Course in Weight Loss addresses the true causal root of your weight-loss issues: a place within you where you have forgotten your Divine perfection. This forgetfulness has confused not only your mind but also your body, making you reach for that which cannot sustain you…and reject that which does. As your mind reclaims its spiritual intelligence, your body will reclaim its natural intelligence as well.
There are 21 lessons and we will focus on 2-3 lessons each week. This is a 10 week study and we ask that you commit to attending the entire 10 weeks. To maintain a sense of trust, community, confidentiality and continuity, we will not accept newcomers into the group after the 2nd week.
Required Materials: A Course in Weight Loss which can be purchased in any bookstore, a journal or notebook, and a copy of A Course in Miracles.
$5 per Session suggested Love Offering greatly appreciated but not required.
