Why
Practical
Application?
Back in
April of
2001, I
was
going
through
a lot
with the
discovery
a few
months
prior of
my
children
having
been
molested,
at that
point, I
wrote
and
shared
with our
YahooGroup:
”….The
last
sentence
especially
is
important,
THIS IS
NOT A
COURSE
IN THE
PLAY OF
IDEAS,
BUT IN
THEIR
PRACTICAL
APPLICATION.
You want
to know
what
I've
been
doing?
That is
it, I am
applying
it in
every
corner
of my
life. I
could
share
the
trials
and
lessons
that I
have
been
going
through,
and it
may seem
very
dark to
you, but
instead
I have
chosen
the
Light.
Nothing
in the
world
can make
you ill
or sad
or weak
or frail
as 190
goes:
It is
your
thoughts
alone
that
cause
you
pain.
Nothing
external
to your
mind can
hurt or
injure
you in
any way.
There is
no cause
beyond
yourself
that can
reach
down and
bring
oppression.
No one
but
yourself
affects
you.
There is
nothing
in the
world
that has
the
power to
make you
ill or
sad, or
weak or
frail.
But it
is you
who have
the
power to
dominate
all
things
you see
by
merely
recognizing
what you
are. As
you
perceive
the
harmlessness
in them,
they
will
accept
your
holy
will as
theirs.
And what
was seen
as
fearful
now
becomes
a source
of
innocence
and
holiness.
Can all
of this
be done?
Yes, I
am
telling
you that
it
works,
it works
in
application
in
everything
you do.
If you
believe
that
there is
an order
of
difficulty
in
miracles
and in
healing,
then it
will not
work for
you. All
we are
asked to
do is to
believe.
I have
answered
that
call.
And, I
know and
I can
tell you
that
there is
no order
of
difficulty."
At that
time in
my life,
I had no
choice
but to
embrace
the
principles
and put
them
into
action.
It
worked
and has
continued
to work,
and I am
grateful,
so very
grateful
that it
is so. I
continued
to share
openly
and
honestly
about
all that
I was
dealing
with,
forgiving
and
healing
on this
board.
And both
Paul and
I
continue
to do
so. So,
please
join
with us
in the
healing
of our
minds.
