Many of us find ourselves feeling alone, sad and distressed at times because we feel alone and disconnected from God. We may have a desire to establish a connection but struggle with how to get started. This Sunday we will take a look at this problem and share simple practices that can easily be incorporate into your life to help you feel re-connected with your Friend in about 10 minutes. Come join with us to continue developing your true friendship with God.

Rev. Deb shares an overview of the month's theme of "What Love Is". Many messages are present within the Course that tell us that "God is Love" and "God Loves us" no matter what we think we may have done to sever the connection with God. At the end we utilize Lesson 46 - God is the Love in which I forgive as an extended meditation as a means of forgiving those relationships in our lives as well as ourselves. |

2/5/12 Rising Above the Battleground |
This week's Sunday Service has a Super Bowl flavor: "Rising Above the Battleground." As we watch our modern day gladiators battle to the top we can remember that this is a myth of glory. Why do we do this? Can we lay down the sword against our brother, "the enemy" and release the battle in our mind? What about the battle against ourselves? Can we rise above and see only the love? We will as usual spend time in meditation as we offer to the Holy Spirit all of the swords we hold against ourselves and others. Then simply be still an instant and go Home. |

| 10/30/11 Healthy Body or Healed Mind? |
Rev. Deb clarifies what it means in the Course about healing. Many students are confused and believe that a healed mind will outwardly show a healthy body. This week's sermon highlights the following points: physical and psychological symptoms, anti-depressants and other medications, symptom links, illness and disease in babies and children, victimization feelings, prayer and faith healing and finally, what is the goal of ACIM?, Rev. Deb reminds us that as the Course tell us, "Since only the mind can be sick, only the mind can be healed. Only the mind is in need of healing." P-in.1:1-2. The session ends with a meditation. |
