Today's Divine Message on
Lesson 1 - Nothing I see in this room [on this street, from this window, in this place] means anything.

And so I begin my journey into the training of my mind. Today, I begin to lay the foundation for miracles to light my way Home. With the idea of "nothing I see means anything," I could be tempted to either exclude an item or purposefully choose an item for the practice periods. Instead, I am to apply the lesson to what I see surrounding me whether it is inside or outside, whether I am attached to it or not. All that I see has no meaning. That idea could even make me scratch my head, "What do you mean nothing I see means anything?" when I see it and can touch it and can experience it in so many ways. It is not for me to argue the fact or continue to be puzzled but instead I am to be open and willing to the idea presented today. Jesus reminds us of the same in the Introduction to the Workbook. And so today, I will apply this indiscriminately to all that I see, neither excluding nor singling out. I accept that this idea encourages me to wipe the sleepers from my eyes and to stretch my mind a little more today. I am grateful that I have made the choice to begin again. The moment is now and I gladly accept it.

My last name and the family clan that it is associated with does not mean anything because it is not who I really am. The surroundings and environment that I live within does not mean anything because it is not where I really am. The world that we live on and its man-made and natural disasters that seem to shockwave around the planet do not mean anything because none of it is really happening in Reality right now. This may be difficult to believe because to the body these experiences feel very real. The body and everything that it seems to experience is just a dream that we are dreaming as the Son of God.

In Reality right now, we are a spiritual being of white Light who is pretending that he has fallen asleep and is dreaming a terrible dream. He is dreaming that He has become a physical body and that terrible things can happen to it and, that he is no longer the Son of God. As we begin to open up to the experiences the Workbook Lessons set forth, the Holy Spirit will begin to show us the truth about ourselves. He will begin to give us glimpses of the white Light of our True Selves and the corresponding state of peace that we are in right now, in Reality, as the Son of God. When this begins to happen we will begin to recognize that everything we think we are experiencing with the body is just an illusion. These experiences are a happy time for the Son of God who has fallen asleep. It is a time of great celebration and joy that echoes throughout Heaven because, the Son of God has begun to awaken and return to his rightful Home.
