Divine Messages: A Journey Through the Workbook for Students
March 10 - Lesson 69

 

Lesson 69 - My grievances hide the light of the world in me.  

   This is a very important lesson today. It defines the goal of the Course. The goal of the Course very specifically is to get you to a point where you have a personal experience with God. With enough effort and willingness you can actually have an experience where you see and hear God personally. We have the ability to do this anytime we want. It does seem difficult and it does take a lot of practice to get to that personal experience but it is well worth it. It is the goal of the Course and it is the goal of your life. Nothing we may pursue in the world is more important than accomplishing this one task that Jesus asks us to pursue today. He wants us to discover our Friend inside of us. He wants us to discover personally our Friend, God inside of us.

 

   Do you really want to meet God? Do you really want to see and know and hear Him talk to you? Would you like to be able to go to a place where you can sit down and have a personal conversation with a Friend Who will always be there for you? Who will always be your Best Friend? Who will always help you to feel better about yourself? Who will bring so much joy to you in your experience with Him that you could not even imagine it? The keys to finding this most wonderful personal encounter are being given to you in today's Lesson. Ask yourself very honestly how much you really want to meet your personal Friend, God. How far are you willing to walk through the clouds today to find Him and to have Him lift you up? Would you walk a mile today? A hundred miles? Or perhaps a thousand miles through the clouds to find Him? At some point He will lift you up. Would you like to find that point today?
