Lesson 67 - Love created me like itself. 

   If you are suffering from some form of addiction, it is because you have identified yourself with the wrong creator. The ego mind teaches us that our parents are our creators and therefore we are destined to be like them. This unfortunate belief has been the cause of extreme pain for countless numbers over the ages. The ego mind can see its own unworthiness in the images of the parents it has created. And in that unworthiness belief it has decided that it too is unworthy of God. It has decided that God is punishing itself and therefore will take on the responsibility to continue to punish itself on behalf of the Creator. This insane idea has been the source of great pain, anguish and distress for the Son of God. This is a core belief in the distorted idea that you have been separated from your Creator because you are unworthy of His attention and love. This belief has been a tragic blasphemy and attack upon the Creator and His Son indeed. Nothing can be further from the truth.

   You who suffer from these beliefs and ideas about yourself are suffering because you have identified with the wrong father. This is a tragic story indeed but fortunately for you it is not true. You have discovered the Light of Christ within yourself and so you know these things are not true. The problem you are having is that you do not want to believe that it is true. You still want to use the addictions to continue to punish yourself so that you can attempt to make the untrue true. When will you truly decide to lay down your hammer and nails that you are using to crucify yourself on behalf of me? You clearly misunderstand the message of the crucifixion which I have taught you, my brother. Lay these weapons of mass destruction down, these toys you use to punish yourself in an attempt to make yourself worthy of Me. And some and join with Me in a walk of happiness and peace and joy forever. It is not necessary to believe in these ideas anymore because they are simply not true. There are false ideas, false beliefs about Who You really are. Lay them down and come and find the blazing Light within you now.

   Come and walk into the Light in your mind within Me now and discover Who You really are. Your face will light up with the joy of Christ inside of you when your mind allows this truth into your awareness. It will be free of its shackles once and for all and nothing but joy will flood the mind. Light and radiance will wrap about you and shine the Love that you are from you and out into the world around you to wash it away in the Love that you truly are. You are Love because that is Who created you. Teach only Love for that is what you are. Come and find it within you now so that you may know this is true once and for all. God has blessed you because you are God.
