Lesson 195 - Love is the way I walk in gratitude.

 Holy Spirit,

   In walking your Way of Love and Gratitude, it is for me to be a demonstration of that Love and Gratitude You so embody because I embody it as well. And how can I not teach such? Your Presence shines throughout all that I do. I know that previous learning has taught me to be thankful for what I have because there are others who have less. This reminds me Spirit, of hearing when I was a child, "Eat everything on your plate because there are starving people in China." I am rather amused by this statement now because a few months ago a friend in Hong Kong stated that in China it is more noble to leave food on the plate as a sign of abundance. Perception, perception. All has all.

   In my teaching, Holy Spirit, I want to be as You are with me, a Gentle Guide. In working with my brothers here in the world, it is for me to experience them as equals. All doing the best that they can. No one is better or greater than another. No Course teacher is better or greater than another. There are no winners nor losers. We are all teachers, ministers, and students. We are here to love, simply love and remember our Father.

   Holy Spirit, I continue to come to You in the silent times that we have together to share with You all unforgiving thoughts. My desire is always to have these transformed with Your Well of Peace. I am refreshed and renewed when I am in Your Presence. I carry this all with me, and remember to tune in to You in all that I say or do. As judgments arise, and they do if I am to be honest with myself, I will raise them to You in a loving cup of gratitude for I know that as each is placed within Your Holy Hands, I am one step closer to God making the final step.

   What is comparison but a judgment of inequality? Does it matter what my words say? Are they from the heart? Is this not my process? All that I do in the work with You, Spirit is to come with my integrity. I am not here to prove anything. I am here to extend Love to my brothers. They are my reflections of me, each aspect that I choose or do not choose to see so in fact I am either extending or withdrawing Love to my Self.

   As I embrace each brother, each aspect, each lesson, I know that Heaven is smiling for it means that each fragmented part is joining unto the Wholeness of God. I need each brother, it is for me to overlook the differences that I perceive. The opinions, the philosophies, the theologies, all are devices of the ego thought system to continue the illusion of separation. If I behold the Oneness and allow that to be the only Light that guides my awareness, then I will behold the Christ.

   I am grateful for this openness and willingness that I have to come to You with each thought and I know that there are no minor thoughts. Each can be disturbing to my peace. Equality with all is my mindset for today.

   I can release attachments to being right, to acquiring knowledge, to appreciation, to all that may bind me to polar positions. I choose happiness. I choose gratitude for all that enters into my mind. Let me be now the holy vessel to share the Love of the Father. My heart is so grateful for this opportunity of learning. My mind is thankful for the clear Light of Peace.

   May It shine forevermore.

   Thank You Spirit. Amen.
