Lesson 185 - I want the peace of God.

   Today we work on truly desiring the peace of God. You are already aware that you have chosen many other things over this. Whenever you start to feel restless or bored you turn to the ego for a solution to help yourself come to a place where you feel better. When you turn to the ego for a solution it will not last. It will always end with a feeling of unfulfillment and sadness. The ego will busy you with a change in activity that may seem fun for awhile but in the end you will be left empty-handed once again. Your salvation will have seemingly been held off a little longer once again.

   The next time you begin to feel discontented or bored, try remembering to turn to the Holy Spirit and asking Him for some help with the situation. It only takes a few minutes to go into silent conversation with Him within your mind. It is there where He will help to bring clarity and understanding to the situation at hand for you and if you could ask Him what you could do to be truly helpful to both yourself and those around you, He will gladly give you guidance that will lead all of you to a feeling of joy, peace, and fulfillment. He alone knows best for the situation at hand. Remember He wants to talk with you. He wants to help you. He wants you to be a happy person within the dream while you awaken. He needs His happy teachers to help reach all of Father's children who seem to be lost within dreams of dreams. They are looking for Him, though they may not realize it.

   He needs your help in reaching them in a manner in which they can understand, and learn from you through your demonstration in how they too can learn to turn to Him for their own guidance to joy as well. As you turn to Him for His counsel in everything you do your light becomes brighter within the world. As your light becomes brighter the others will be naturally drawn to it for they will recognize the call of Love, the Light of Love within themselves which they have temporarily forgotten.

   All lights must touch all lights once again within the Mind of God to illuminate the world with Heaven once again; to bring it back to the place before time began. You know now how to turn to your Friend for help. Thank you for your willingness to continue to practice and grow in this area. You are beginning to understand the peace and joy that comes with it each time you have the willingness to ask for peace in your life. Thank you my dear brother for your help in this area. Thank you for taking my hand as I gladly take yours and together we take our brothers' hands and we join together as One to find our way Home. In Innocence we will all gather together and proclaim our joy,
happiness and love for each other and for our Father Who is One with us forever in Heaven. Amen.
